Adult day-care unit for patients with various mental ailments, communication problems and mood disorders started in October 2004. It is a small but cozy hospital sector with places for 15 patients (male and female), functioning on weekdays from 8 am to 3.30 pm. So the patients are not separated from their families and can sooner return to work and adapt to society.
The unit’s team consists of psychiatrist, psychotherapist, psychologist, nurse and social worker. Each patient has individual treatment plan; receives necessary medical treatment, psychotherapy, relaxation exercises, psychoeducation for patients and their family, art therapy or social skills training. Patients have 2 free meals a day.
Those who wish to be treated in our unit are referred to RVPH admission unit on workdays from 8 am to 12 pm., with a valid identification document, health insurance document and psychiatrists referral.
- Services provided in the unit:
- Assessment of individuals mental state;
- Prescription of medicationsb (medications during treatment are free of charge);
- Psychotherapy in groups and individually;
- Occupational therapy:
Art therapy (drawing, molding, painting, stained–glass, folding, weaving),
Watching and discussing films;
Participation in hospitals events;
Use of internet.

- Psycho education;
- Light therapy.
